We'll do what we usually do in December—holiday songs. It'll be fun. Bring your voice.

We'll be one of the four featured performers. Not quite New Year's Eve, but still one of the Twelve Days of Christmas, so we might sing a holiday song or two.

A festival we've been attending for years, and this year they've invited us to be one of the featured performers on the Main Stage. Enjoy the music from 12:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., and look for us to start our set at 4:45 p.m. Details and directions on their website.

Who says you have to drink to enjoy St. Patrick's Day? You don't, but come and find out for yourself by joining us in singing the music of the annual celebration—without the expense of buying a round.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. No reserved seating, so get there early, and bring a friend or two.

The Lake County Folk Club was formed in 1992 by a group of folk music enthusiasts who wanted to create a place where acoustic music could be played and heard. Later this year the Showcase Stage will feature Mark Dvorak, Tom & Chris Kastle, Kat Eggleston, Ed Holstein, and Michael Smith, so it's an honor to be invited to play here.

The venue is a little out of the way, but the roads are well marked so it's easy to find. Good Mexican food, and you can even order something from the bar. We'll be getting ready for St. Patrick's Day, so expect an extra couple of Irish songs in the mix, and we're planning on making this an entertaining way to bring in the work week. You can plan on bringing your voice and maybe a friend or two.

This art show is really on Harrison Street between Ridgeland Avenue and Austin Boulevard. We'll be doing three 45 minute sets on the street, each at a different location. Here is our performance schedule:

The Oak Park Arts District's annual fall art show, which will be taking place September 10-11th, 2010. This year’s theme is “Celebrate the Arts in the Oak Park Arts District,” and will consist of visual artists, dancers, & musicians. We'll be one of many featured performers doing 40 minute sets, and Chris will also be joining the Harrison Street Ukelele Players:

The ukulele is enjoying a renewed popularity. It is small, easy to play, and there are good ones available at a modest price. It's ideal for anybody who always wanted play “something.” Why not get in on the fun!

No experience necessary to take this class. Students will need a playable soprano, concert, or tenor ukulele. All other materials will be provided. Call or e-mail Tobias Music to sign up—and do it TODAY.

If you're not sure if your ukulele is playable, visit the store before the first day of class and have them check it out. And yes, they sell ukuleles.
